Card Table
Lay cards across the areas of your life (rows) and what to do with each: less · keep · more (columns). Then sit with the table, notice where the major arcana fall, circle the cards that carry the message, and decide for yourself. The cards ask; you decide. How the practice works →
Reading the codes
- Major arcana are Roman numerals,
0(the Fool) toXXI(the World). They have a gold frame on the table. - Minor arcana are rank + suit:
Aor1,2–10,Ppage,Knknight,Qqueen,Kking; thenWwands, Ccups, Sswords, Ppentacles. So 4Cis the Four of Cups,KnPthe Knight of Pentacles. ↓after a card means it fell reversed (rworks too);↑means upright and can be left out.( )around a card means it is circled: the card that carries the message, the one that feels needed, not the "best" one. It has a ring on the table.- Two cards in one cell are separated by a space:
8C 3P.
Untick show codes once you know them. The codes are also how an assistant can read your table.
Write it by hand (the notation)
One line per area: Area | cards | cards | cards. A line in [brackets] is a heading. > … is a note. Label: cards is a mini-row under the table (another deck or oracle). deck: and columns: lines set the deck and the column names.
Your table and your notes stay in this browser; nothing is sent anywhere. Tables often name people and projects: export them to keep them, and think before you share a link.
